what a great weekend We've had

Post by Esermalda on Sun 18 Mar 2012, 8:02 pm

hi all, thank you so much for all the help over the past couple of days.

1. broken/rusted leg end problem:- solved by cutting it straight and putting a cap in.
2. pole problem:- Mark drilled the rivets out and made the angle right again and I attached the rivets again well one of them anyway.
3. pin hole in roof:- thought I would give the blob of sealant a go, when I checked outside the roof this pm there was no hole on the outside
4. friend left some magic sponge and it seems to work but I dont think it works without elbow grease,
5. propane and butane:- Thought we would try both with a camping stove and realised that, a, dont have a regulator for butane and b, b----dy propane cylinder is empty. silent No
6. went shopping today looking at curtains etc and couldn't see what I wanted but theres always Next Weekend.
Very Tired Now, but soooo pleased with what we achieved.
