Any advice on camping in Angelsey?

Post by Ali on Wed 04 Apr 2012, 1:28 pm

Hi

Anyone recommend campsites in Anglesey? We are going end of July so want to book but the big one in Benllech said it will be £20 a night with ELHU. This seems a lot to me so was wondering if it's worth it. In aberdaron it was £14 a night and there was a small homecooked food cafe on site which did great breakfasts.

Hi Kelly

This is a link [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] the website was more detailed than this last year with a pitch chart. I paid £14 with EHU. The price is per tent not per pitch and a tent can have 4 adults in - although Marion is quite reasonable and will amend prices - my sons shared my pitch in two smaller tents and they were charged £15 each for a 3 day stay.

It looks like she's added more showers this year so prices may have gone up.

You could try.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

As always there are more campsites listed in Archies Campings.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

You have to download the countries your interested in and use Google earth.

There is no guarantee that the sites are current so you have to phone and check.

You do get to look at the location on Google earth.

So no reviews but it has been suspected several scathing reviews that you used to see on UK Campsite are now watered down by affected sites getting friends to write more favourable reviews.

The books? One page one?

Pretend your explaining it to an idiot and you won't be far wrong.

Caz

I'm sorry you didn't allow for me being thick enough.
Books scanned but could only get one page???????

If by any chance you are referring to anything on Archies Campings the listings were updated 01.03.2012 so good stuff if you deleted.
Lots of no longer trading sites removed and some new sites added.
