Old age and dandy awnings

Post by mike on Thu 05 Apr 2012, 1:40 pm

Dont know if it is my age or not but we where sitting at home this morning and decided not to bring the awning, now we have a three night rule normally, three nights and we dont use the awning anything over and we do.
We both said we couldn't be bothered to erect it,not that its a big deal to do now the sides zip out its fairly easy but the utility is even easier Very Happy is this a sign that we are getting past it lol!

As always with age, it's not as easy to get it up as it used to be.

See you all knew someone had to reply with that comment, I just saved you all the effort.

You beat me to that one Kevin

Must admit we would rather not put the awning up but it doe's give us so much more space that when we don't we miss
it and wish we had ....... but only until it's time to pack away and then we're pleased we didn't bother putting it up in the first place.

Mike - I wasnt hinting honest.

still looking at the moment as I said.

Do you not have an alternative one that you use thats easier than the original for shorter trips ?

Not at the moment we just use the utility but will have to sort a porch awning out

They look nice but every thing is open to the elements,if it rains in the night it often gets windy so its wet chairs and fridge in the night, our utility is the argos one and we bought it in a sale about £40 had it for four years now.

We also got a small utility tent, I think we've had it for over 7 years now It's handy for the fridge and storing the chairs and things overnight.
