Hi Ben my old Dodge /Commer went to live in Bristol!goes by the name of Ran the van.
I would love to attend some dandy meets Smile but he needs some serious money & work on the engine or a transplant (got a red top to go in hopefully over winter then next year will be very happy bunny bounce
I will organize a Commer meet my end hopefully this year I may extend invites here if any one is interested & permission granted from land owner of course.
glad you like the pics Cool your more than welcome to visit of course (so long as you bring cakes & or biscuits!)
looking forward to being surrounded by little trailer tents always fancied one of those!

Never give up on a classic, they are special and generally rewarding. Rolling Eyes

Caz-numbers has a similar name to me just to confuse people. Laughing The fact we both actually have the same name has nothing to do with it. lol!

Chris ought to just mention for the benefit of any one reading this, due to historical reasons we have rules about our forum members being invited to make the numbers up at a rally,i personally see your situation as different, from what i have seen about the commer scene since doing research after you joined you would not need us to make the numbers up so i feel your invitation to our members does not cause any conflict with our aims. Ime sure with the members we have that are interested in classic vehicles and the fact that some of our dandy's would come under the classic banner your invitation would be welcome.
If it goes ahead may be interested myself although i must admit to being an electric hook up camper now, liking my luxuries, fridge, laptop ect,but would really like to see your dandy.

Mike I certainly won't be doing a rally & making numbers up no offense taken !
So far we only know of mine & 1 other iirc back in the ninety's but hasn't been heard from since I received a message from martin Watts, hopefully the other one will surface eventually!
I would love to surprise The colonel with a few wee babies & wouldn't the Commer fans get a surprise!
As for hook up there is electricity nearby!(& water)we could probably give you preferential treatment! I will post a link to the Cambridgeshire meet that I organized if that's OK ?
