Ah that does seem an odd one, in the nicest way.
Orange skin which suggests seventies but a late eighties at earliest looking at sides. Are they ply painted in later graphics or aluminium?
90's upholstery and late nineties cupboard.
If you look on top of the offside top of the A frame and find the serial no (last two digits) what year is it?

Can't quite make out is that an old Bradley hitch and ratchet handbrake at the front or has someone forked out for a Bradley hitch for a later Dandy?

yes i thought there were a few bits that were not quite right for the type
the inside also has the light paneling same as the cupboards and full electric circuit breaker
x2 240v plugs and 3x 12v slot type plugs
it dose have an old type ratchet with flip over type ratchet lock and the sides are aluminum with decals on
which are going to come off and get my mate cain (vespa & lambretta spray artist) to spray some new ones on it
when we get it up again i will get the digits off the a frame

wow Shocked this reminds me of my old VW 1974 bay window had loads of fun stripping her down Wink
mine definitely has alloy sides as they are coming away a little at the bottom but not sure if they are stuck on !
i will have to take some more pics and investigate what year it really is
well done on the rebuild the pics have all i need to know about the frame and where things are

Our old sides were stuck on and riveted.

As Mr Itch said look on the A frame for a number as a clue to its year. We never found one on Phoenix but have good reason to believe she is from 1976.

Looking at your photos you have a 5 berth where as ours is a baby 4.

just been out to it and had a look the alloy is not just stuck on and ours has the wheel arches on the inside
and yes it dose sleep 5 x2 double beds and a small single
it may have had an older top fitted at some point ........still a mystery Very Happy but will check the numbers on the frame
