Yes Very Happy

If you have an awning or day tent then ok not a problem,in fact on a cool night they need switching off as they can freeze items, remember if its a 18 below ambient model its also the same at night, you can help them by having a 2lit bottle of frozen water in when you start.

My new wiring for the cool box
now we've got an awning
transformer in bottom cupboard, wired under Dandy to
waterproof socket.

I can't sleep in the same room as a ticking watch - never mind a clock. However the low-level hum from a coolbox is no problem so it's a very personal thing.

We have a fantastic mains / 12V coolbag that we take most places with us. Even when staying in hotels it's great for keeping the wine and beer cool 12v coolboxs 184121345

The noise doesn't bother any of us, even daughter who's a light sleeper and doesn't have the benefit of the wine to prevent disturbance Smile

I wasn't too disturbed by the humming noise but mine has a GREEN working light which keeps the awning WELL lit. eventually had to get up to cover it, it was so bright. No falling down in the dark for me. drunken drunken Sad

Just a note. Electric Coolboxes are available from Aldi from the 2nd of June. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I personally have found Aldi far more helpful if it comes to returns.

While this has a 3 year guarantee have you noticed the worrying trend for some of their products now having a 1 year guarantee.
