My Dandy Awning

Post by ShaunJUK on Sat 13 Oct 2012, 7:31 am

So we bought our Dandy in April and it came with the most amazing awning ever.

However we are yet to use it, I think it is just too big for our needs. I am on the lookout for a brown Dandy awning however I cant help but feel my custom awning is going to waste.

I am thinking of selling it but how do I price it?

Any ideas?

The thing is yours would be a great family awning with the bedroom attached, and lets be honest loads of dandy campers with family's dont camp all year round so sleeping in the awning is no great problem.

I agree with Mike,

Yours would be great for a family, also not everyone likes Dandy awnings as the doors are not the best design Smile

could be that someone would prefer your awning to a pvc awning as the extra space would make a great en-suite and dressing area and that door looks brilliant. Very Happy

Might be worth looking if it has a date on it or any other markings.
Probably of an age where it it is just cotton (Not that there is anything wrong with well made cotton canvas)but Ten Cate produce a large range of awning fabrics.
Have a wander round the site they have some interesting future ideas as well.

Come on Ms Numbers we're intrigued what you have planned for the large awning?

Shaun should you go to Wales I'd suggest hard hat, gumshield, knee pads and box for if you get invited to accompany on dog walking!

Is there a time you prefer Caz?

We are under a load of rubble doing the bathroom at the minute but can look at something.

Hi Caz,

Are you still wanting an awning swap?

Just planning a random trip for my birthday next week and was thinking of maybe heading out that way.

Shaun
