affraid affraid affraid she's back and on a mission affraid affraid affraid

yep the friend that speaks for my fish !! love her bless her but! reality is not her place anyway she has apparently spent three weeks in a tepee in west wales scratch no I dare not ask why as it could take weeks or months to understand Sleep Sleep she has decided that she will control my eating so now i have a daily phone call and have to tell her what I have had to eat pale as apparently this is reading study into my sole and meaning of my life affraid oh I am a naughty girl today the dutiful phone call "what are you eating" "um waffle nuts marrow" "oh ok!" she hung up I will confess the waffle was egg waffle and if you toast it it tastes like cake, nuts is not the whole truth it was Nutella with hazelnuts plastered an inch thick on the waffle then a slight pronunciation error marrow was marsh mallow it comes in a jar (from America) and that was plastered on but sorry no guilt as it went down a treat and I dread to find out what her analysis is Suspect hopefully she will give up and find another cause to champion

It's so difficult to get through to an actual person on the telephone these days, it's a minefield of questions asked by an automated service and if you press the wrong button you have to start all over again Evil or Very Mad

On another note and probably because I've had a frustrating morning ...... we have a huge mirror directly opposite the lounge window, we put it there because it reflects the light and makes the room feel bigger. For the past few weeks a young lady has stared in while looking at herself in the mirror ... twice per day without fail. I know it may sound a bit silly but it's getting on my nerves, she actually stopped this morning took a brush out of her bag and brushed her hair in my mirror while we were sat here ...... we have a large tree outside our house so would rather not use nets or blinds because light is already restricted.

SOoooo, I got John to stick a large message on the mirror before he went to work that reads

You Look Lovely

As Always

Please Use

Your Own Mirror

The reason for being away so long ...... After having a great time away 4th may till 25th may and getting back home at 6am after traveling since 10am the morning before as you can imagine I was ready to drop .. then this blood curdling scream came from upstairs  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]   never new I could have that turn of speed in me ..thinking " spider, dead animal , flood, electric shock , cut himself, ???? I got to my sons room he was standing biting his wrist and pointing at the monitor !!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] " WHAT!"  cant see anything as now thinking spider " mmmmmahhmmmmgggmmm" was the reply ahh I really understood every word of that NOT ..I asked again with the same reply I am now counting backwards from 5000 still not got a clue he is getting worse and louder I am getting annoyed and deafer finally prized  his wrist out of his mouth ( bloody strong bugger) now tell me what the problem is before I explode !!    " err ahh mmmmm THE INTERNET " he shouted at me  " WHAT you had me running in fear of your life at break neck speed only to find that the internet is off ! GET TO BED!!!!!" ha yea right that's not going to happen so kettle on and open post will I calm down two letters from Talk talk " sorry your leaving us if you have not requested a change of supplier please contact us with in 7 days "  both letters dated 13th may then another two letters saying welcome to Time Talk dated the 4th of May affraid what so on the mobile phone to find out I have been "SLAMMED" they have new words for lots of things any way after 4 hours on the mobile phone thank god they phoned me back and then had to have a new line , phone number etc but it was not being put in until the 10th of June ha ha ha oh my life is going to be hell till then got through that all switched on and next holiday I will tell them I am away and don't touch or I will sue     [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] all fine then the scream came from above and this time I walked up too knackered no internet [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] now what???? got through to talk-talk I owe them £38  what for oh may's phone bill after another 3hrs on the phone explained everything finally got to speak to an adult and they apologized I only owed £8 but I had to pay the full 38 to get a refund as there computer would not let them adjust  ha yea right but as the repercussion from standing my grown will see me in the grave so paid and will what my bill next month  What a Face

Not a happy bunny Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad (and that's putting it mildly), apparently our gas boiler fitter hasn't done half of what he he said he was going to do re the lead piping in the bathroom and apparently what he told us about the pressure only applies to the central heating system not the hot water! So if he had bothered to reconnect the hot water back up we could have left the bathroom for now and had our new kitchen first as per our original plan.

lesson learnt

Post by Caz1960 on Wed 14 Aug 2013, 11:30 pm

Sad Sad Sad  the reason I have been off line for so long is the fact my laptop crashed big time everything I had gone affraid I tried to get it back but made things worse ended up going to a PC repair shop and now love that man as the lesson learnt is backup everything I had just uploaded all photos on the laptop and sorted out all my downloads into files and when loading the photos the question came up do you want to clear photos off the SD card so I ticked the box to agree as repeating photos was taking up so much space then the worst happened all gone Sad  cry! well I think Noah would not have been to build a big enough Ark to cope with the floods of tears pale but not wanting to complain as I have all my photos back but my keyboard is different just subtle but it has moved to American board
lesson 2 :   no fool like an old fool    I tried to log on with my phone but the writing was so small I sat here with a magnifying glass and my phone to read the posts it took me days to read until my son ( killed himself laughing every time he saw me but didn't say a word ) until he could not take it any more " Mum what you doing ?"  trying to read the internet !!  as I was slowly loosing the will to live then he grabbed my phone and with the open pinching action enlarged everything  Shocked  but then I had one word per page so I am glad to read all the posts normally

We were hoping to get away for a weekend or two next month. But some idiot woman slammed into the side of our new car on Friday trying to overtake 2 cars that were turning right (one of which was ours). Consequently we are going to be without it for the next few weeks (assuming its not written off) so that's probably going to be it now for this year.

Sorry to hear that Admiral. Are you able to get a replacement car through the insurance. Your insurer may be able to arrange it.

We will get a courtesy car (hopefully today) as my husband is a community nurse and can't do his job without one. He was actually on a visit when the accident happened. Thankfully he wasn't badly hurt, but he is aching from top to toe and the side of his face is swollen where it was hit by the air bag.
We're really angry about it as the car is only 18 months old and we've only had it 5 weeks. We're hoping they don't write it off as getting another as good as that will be fairly remote as it was just perfect and had everything we wanted.

Aawwww Jayne, I know how much the pair of you loved the car ..... hope Nigel feels better soon and that the car can be repaired. By coincidence my pop had an accident on Friday too, some silly woman decided she was in the wrong lane and attempted to get over at the last minute, my uncle also  had an accident and was badly injured and has developed a fear of driving ....... he was in the passenger seat as pops was taking him to the hospital What a Face Luckily no one was hurt and the car isn't too badly damaged.

My Mazda Premacy failed it's mot last thursday, the tin worm got it Crying or Very sad It could be repaired, but the rear wheel arches would need to be fabricated (no repair panels available), same for the sills, total £1000 approx  affraid Both front floors are advisories so it's off to the scrappy tomorrow.

There is now a 53 plate Mondeo Ghia TDCi 130 in my Garage, bought friday

Tow bar fitting at 12:30, arranged through selling garage for £180  bargain, I reckon they'd have quoted me twice that Very Happy

The garage lied, we still haven't got the car back it will now be 31st at the earliest. To make matters worse someone slashed two of the tyres and badly scratched the courtesy car overnight so now we have to make a claim to get that repaired and be given another one!
