stowford farm meadows

Bit late of a review but here goes.

Booked this last year for a week , electric hookup and hedge pitch.
liked it so much we stay another week.
Site - 5 large fields , some hard standing but we chose grass.
on arrival booked in and was given a map and directions to the pitch.
each field has a large toilet / shower block - very clean. the toilet blocks close for approx 1hour each day to do a big clean - there is only one block closed at a time. and usually one or two toilets available in the one closed.
hot water and good showers, shaving points etc.
site has shop - well stocked and not bad on price either. fish and chipshop onsite, pub with food, restaurant, swimming pool and games room.
16a hook up and we found the pitch to be quite large.
staff very helpful , one of the staff members onsite gave us an ariel to borrow for freeview and a couple of members on site used to own dandys so always up for a blether.
good play areas and walks for kids n dogs and found the site to be well situated for our needs.
we were less that £200 all in for 2 weeks in beginning of July which was great.
it rained for our holiday but we had a great time.
would recommend it and will def go back.

Yeah very nice site. Gets busy during the height of the season. I've also thought prices where expensive in the past, no idea what they are like now? Lucie and I have also stayed here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] which is near by and a really good site (we are members of the C&CC).
