Dandy Newbie

Post by Twindad on Sun 24 Feb 2013, 12:25 pm

Hello all fellow dandy members, i am a newbie here, looking to have fun meet ups and of course find my first dandy.
we used to own a campervan, but feel that as we love camping so much the next step would be to own a dandy.
We are looking for a 4/6 berth model in good condition,so if any member knows of any for sale in the Leicestershire,Derbyshire,Nottinghamshire area then please send me a message. Smile Smile

Hello.
We're not the most prolific meet organising club though 1) we may be looking at that 2) members are free to invite others onto any event they wish.
An available Dandy in the area in which you live? Sods law it tends not to happen. what your interested in always tends to be miles. Not Pennines or Combicamps so not 1,000s to choose from.
A 4 to 6 birth model for sale? Don't know how much looking you have done but all Dandys are 4 to 6 birth models but what you want out of that range is the key. If you have some ideas do tell if your just starting to look this is a guide to what's on offer.

Hello and Twindad

With regards to what size Dandy you are looking for, how many of you are there planning to camp in it?

Hope your Dandy finds you soon. Smile

Think i would look for a 6 berth,as the 4 and 5 berth models would be a bit tight for you,the other models claim to be 4,41/2 and 5 berth but to be honest the 5 berth makes a better 4 berth Very Happy

Hello and

A campervan and a Jack Russell, my idea of heaven. We have a 1986 VW, and had until 4 weeks ago a brown and white JRT

This pic was taken a few years ago of him. - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Cheers, he is featured in quite a few pics on here, in a red push chair. He was pushed around everywhere in the end as he just got old and couldn't walk far. Rolling Eyes
