Plans afoot!

Post by Kimmie on Sun 03 Mar 2013, 7:53 am

Well best laid plans.....
As some of you know I bought a 1980's 5 a few months ago. Well that has now gone to a new home Sad
Why you may ask?
Well in 2007 ( in a time of great hardship!!!)I sold a '91 low Destiny to a lovely couple in Norfolk. I contacted them in "08 and said that if they ever decided to sell it, to let me know....well guess what? I'm collecting same said Dandy at Easter

This is then having a holiday in Norfolk, and in July is touring Luxembourg, Germany and the Netherlands

Can't wait!

Has anyone any bought back anything that they once owned?

Brilliant news

It must feel so good to be getting it back

I've not bought anything back because I tend to hang on to everything lol! if it ever came on the market and I could I'd have one of my old houses back ..... loved it and wouldn't hesitate now the kids have left home.

Oh and I still regret letting my car go all those years ago .... my pride and joy but it's probably gone to the scrap heap in the sky now so no hope of ever finding it again Crying or Very sad

Glad you got her back. It was obviously meant to be.

Where abouts in Norfolk are you intending to camp?

Brilliant.

Photos of the jaunt will be expected.

Either after or during if you have mobile interweb access or use WiFi zones.

Never bought anything back but regret selling that bellow desperately. Not practical for 14 stone bloke (as I was then) even less practical now. I have one of the same now, but it's not the same. not a 150 but 125 it was the only photo of a grey one I could find.

Taking a wild guess at which site you mean might I suggest that you tell people that you recommend this site to, that:

The owner is "Unique" and a "Character". I'm not saying you will but manic is one of the words you might use in her description. I would advise campers just to go with the flow as she is in fact a sweetie and a wonderful time will no doubt be had. It might all just seem a bit much at first though.

It's a cracking location too.

on being able to buy her back. Like Helen, we tend to hang onto things until they work no more, or store them away in every available nook and crany. lol!
