Kingsdown International Camping Centre

Post by Sir Henry on Tue 08 Oct 2013, 12:10 pm

I'm afraid that this has to be a negative recommendation for the following reasons:

1) Camping is charged at £6 per person per night.
2) EHU is another £6 per night.
3) Other than in a very few places near the EHUs the land slopes steeply.
4) There is almost nothing on site other than a couple of toilet/shower blocks.
5) The nearby village is just as bereft of anything more than a couple of pubs.
6) All the approach roads are narrow, winding and unlit at night.

Thanks for the review, negative reviews are just as helpful if not more so than the positive ones. They can save people money and time going somewhere that may be unsuitable

I should have mentioned that the camp site is just South of Deal, close to the golf course and overlooking Oldstairs Bay.
