looking for a dart

Post by albascot on Tue 29 Apr 2014, 4:24 pm

Hi there.

New to forum ;- we had an old dandy [ think it was 70s model but had single skinned dark blue walls/ timber body ;- haven't seen another one like it.] Sold it 3 years ago to upgrade to a caravan ;- big mistake!!;- we much preferred the old Dandy.

Now trying to find another Dandy but as my drive is tight I am focused on a Dart [ I think these are the slimmest?.

Anyone got one for sale?

There's a Dart for sale on eBay, it's one of the late dark blue ones - bit pricey though he's asking for over £3000.

Your drive would have to be narrow to only allow a Dart at about 5'3" including wheels a 5 is only 7" wider at 5'10" overall and has a lot more interior space. Do try and have a look at as many  as possible to see what suits you.

there are some limited edition Darts with inboard wheels only 48 in wide I think. although drives wide enough to take a delta I have to be able to get past it into garage;- My old one was a bit of an obstacle.

I'll never make detective  Suspect

There was I wondering why Caz even thinks the seller had an awning for the camper and of course it's in one of the pictures - Duh!

Welcome albascot - I hope you find what you're after before too long  Smile
