The roof on our six is packed on top of the beds to avoid damage,i know some fold it in with the beds but i dont like that idea,we normally fold it two or three times so it sits on the front bed,but this is dictated by where you want the weight

We used to waste so much time sorting out the roof 'properly' to fold in the middle of the two bed bases.
Then sense dawned.
It now remains permanently attached at the 'non-fixed' end and folds in with the beds.
Much easier ... and much safer if it's breezy when erecting / striking.

Thank you Peridot, that's exactly what we do, waste a lot of time trying to work it out. We are very new to using a Dandy, and almost decided to send it back after our first trip. Your advice is very much appreciated.
