First trip out in Brian!

Post by ShaunJUK on Sun 21 Jun 2015, 9:23 pm

For the first time since the 2013 Dandy Campers birthday meet we are going back on the road and sleeping under PVC!

We have booked into a small local site near Anderby Creek.

Its mainly a small weekend away to check him fully over and make a list of those extra jobs that need doing but we do intend to do lots of relaxing!

I have installed all the electrics, a new tap, got new water containers, heaters etc etc (Fancy selling the old one with all the kit!!)

We will take lots of pictures!!

Hope it goes well Shaun. I see you've changed your profile picture at last as well. We need a good video of someone putting up a 6 with awning as there seems to be lots of info on rear entry with the Riva video and one of the high side. But nothing on a lowside or awning.

Well we are all hitched up and ready to roll. It doesn't feel like 2 years since we last did this and I cannot wait!

What a fantastic site!

We had a great time and Lilly loved her first Dandy experience

I love this Dandy (and all the other "old fashioned" colours)

We have the dark blue (one of the first to be produced in this colour following Ian's take over of Riva) but I said to my other half right from the start that I didn't like the colour as it's too in your face.

Even the pale blue is better looking than my dark blue

The older Dandys have such character

I think you're right and our dark blues won t look anything like as good in 40 years either. That really is in amazing condition Shaun.

Have you got the awning to go with it as well, I know you probably don't need it with all that room.
