1970s Dandy 4

Post by Jonpw on Wed 27 Jul 2016, 7:53 am

We have a Dandy 4 that has been in the family for a good 30 years, we used to go camping in it when i was younger and have a lot of happy memories!

It hasn't been used in about 10 years but I am going to start using it again. It has been dry stored, the only issue with it is some welding to the frame and one of the roof ropes has snapped.

Looking forward to many happy trips in the Dandy!

Hi and welcome Jonpw Very Happy

Great to hear that the old lady is being brought back into action.

I currently have a late 60s / early 70s 4/5 model.

Don't forget some photos when you start using the camper ... we do like photos Smile

I love the Gower. My fathers sister and parents lived there for many years. My father then retired there. We went down and camped many times when our boys were young. Many years ago now though.

Must go there again sometime.

Got the welding sorted and the ropes replaced at the weekend. Here's a picture of her undergoing surgery...
