Quartz Infrared Heater Empty Quartz Infrared Heater

Post by mike on Thu 21 Jul 2011, 2:38 pm

Short-wave infrared heating technology provides comfortable heat at
the flick of a switch. The high frequency heat penetrates the air,
warming the individual and not the air in between. This unique
form of heating is highly energy efficient, instant and extremely
effective, particularly when providing heat outside or in hard to heat
areas. There is no pre-heating time or heat loss due to drafts or
warm air rising.

Now this sounds fantastic but not sure i believe it,any thoughts

That looks like the sort of heater used at pubs for the area outside, they are good.

Would they keep you warm in winter in an awning,if it only heats you does it have to cover your whole body or would you get cold feet?

It is a bit Eilis, I am going to stick with my little heater for the Dandy awning and my gas lamps. The do keep it warm and toasty inside. Very Happy
