I now have one very similar and used it in the middle of a field in a valley and it was fantastic, it is magnetised and we just stuck it on the dandy roof edge and it grabbed a roof bar and didn't budge even in high winds. It picked up loads of channels and the picture was perfect, just remember not to let it get too close to the tv as magnets and telly's don't mix well

Just a little update on the Ariel
we were camping on a site in Brean Nr western super mare and we got all the main channels worked great
a family in a tent parked next to us and from the back of the car came a satellite dish
as we watched them ply with it for over a hour the farther said that's all we can do what we cant get we cant watch
as we chatted one night the father said the kids aren't happy they cant watch red or black on the tv so me being me said do you want to borrow our ariel because we were going out and did not need it till the next morning
well when i brought the ariel you should have heard them laugh
"that wont pic a thing up" they were gob smacked when they tried it
it ended up talk of the site
so all in all i think its the best bit of kit i have seen

    A little wonder

We had a similar aerial with a small LCD TV we purchased from Maplin a few months ago.

We place the aerial on the apex of the Dandy's roof, set the TV to scan channels, and enjoy great reception on freeview.

There's also a bonus in that freeview also has readio stations, so we no longer need to pack a radio, and enjoy Radio 5 Live in FM quality!! Heaven!

    Link for the TV below

    Enjoy!! cyclops
