This is all North Wales, it is really nice but the best bit is no speed humps to tow over.

North Wales has some breath taking scenery and great fish and chips too. Anglesey is really pretty and some of the little villages are like stepping back in time......... so relaxing I love you

Nice pictures. Long time since I've been to Conway and can't get over the fact that there isn't nose to tail traffic on the photo of the castle.

Thats because they have run the 55 under the estuary, I remember my dad having to tow our caravan through the small arch in the centre of Conway but only after we had spent hours jammed in traffic eating our picnic on the car bonnet. Laughing

When you go in a few weeks just continue on the A55 and the majority of these pics were taken within 20 miles of where you are already going.

Really, are we going somewhere as beautiful as that... Think we'll be going for a lovely drive then. Pity we're only there for two nights Sad

It is nice where your going Sharon but I think the further up the coast you go the prettier it gets. Two days isnt long enough to see everything but it is long enough to drive up the A55 to Colwyn Bay to look at Dinarth Hall campsite and see if you fancy it for a longer break.

Go and have a look when you are in Wales, facilites are old but cleaned daily and views and location are fantastic, close to Llandudno and Conway so lots to do but I do recommend you go on the Caravan area as the camping field can get noisy at weekends. Bank holidays are just too busy nowadays.

Bank hols are busy everywhere nowadays, i don't go away bank holiday unless we are already there at the end of our 2 weeks or something.

I don't mind old facilities so long as they are clean and not full of crawlies, and the reviews all stated they were always clean, so that is good enough for me.

We have been looking for somewhere else to camp that is not too far away, but i have never been brave enough to try a farm site because of the farm smell No but i am willing to give this a try cos it sounds so good.

Yes Helen, we usually go to Colwyn bay a few times when we stay in Towyn, (my lads always visit the music shop, and there is wetherspoons for the curry night and the steak night) the last time we were there we went through rhos on sea and wondered if there maybe a campsite around the area and you know of a good one.

I see someone has put more smilies on i am torn now between lol! (bad hair day me) or (lager lout me no name cos i'm too bevvied.)

lol!

I can reccomend this place;

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

This is the site family members use when coming to visit, despite the fact it's next to the A55 road noise is limited because the road is elevated. It has great coastal views and is nicely located for most of the North Wales attractions, being about 5 miles from Rhyl, 3 miles from Rhos-on-Sea, a little further from Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Conwy.

Thanks Keith ......... You could put a review on the Wales campsite thread so its easy to find.
I will go take a look at it next time we are at Rhos-on-Sea
