It's good to have a sense of humour, and some banter with it.

Can you get bungees with a metal thread through them? Lol. Or perhaps some chains.

Oh dear, perhaps I shouldn't ask, but as you've now mentioned it I feel I ought to. Or should I? Oh dear, how difficult.

Wow ...... wit whoo, looks great. We have personalised our awning with a Dandy on Tour sticker in pale blue to match the Dandy, it covers a stain but is made from the same stuff the forum stickers are made of and easy to remove if we ever wanted to. Perhaps you should enter the Dandy of the month with you flower powered Dandy.

Our old Dandy cover had a couple of holes in when we got it, apparently it had been sat under the bed area when the Dandy was in use and some rodents had made a meal of it. There was one large hand sized hole and small hole too, the previous owners had used duct tape to repair and it worked well but didn't look very pretty so I went and bought a set of outdoor vinyl type table mats, they were flowers Laughing I stuck one large one over the big hole and a small 'coaster' one over the small, then I decided I liked them so stuck another large on one and stuck the coasters in strategic places on the sides just to balance out the effect a bit. It hid the tape but the vinyl flowers were a bit stiff and they did come loose and the silicone I used to seal the edges became grubby and dirty after a while. We ended up buying a new cover and the only thing John let me stick on this one was the Old 'DANDY' sign off the old cover Rolling Eyes

I have now discovered that you can have the type that go on cars made up in whatever you want though and they arn't stiff and are very easy to apply cheers

I have solar powered LED lights and they are very pretty, one set of plain white and a set of multi coloured.

We put some at the front of the awning, some around the wind breaks and I have a single solar light that is like a glass block, it sits on the tow bar to stop people tripping over it. Very Happy
