What The Heck Was A Regency

Post  Tow Itch on Sat Jan 14, 2012 7:02 pm

As the informative information piece is locked I thought I'd ask here.
OK the Dash was missed out in the descriptions but then if there is half a dozen of these all fabric Darts then that's five more than I've ever heard of.
But looking at an original set of instructions about erection I find mention of the Regency

    Any one know anything?

Sorry luxury and early dandy in the same sentence, but then i guess it depends what it was up against in those days the fact they have lasted so long tends to make you compare them with later campers, when in actual fact they where luxury in there time.

Thought John had just re posted Mike's comment.
Then saw his line stating Regencys were 5 births.
Almost parallel to this saw an old brochure in the photo section of the Yahoo Group.
    This is also the only time I've seen the 4, 41/2, 5, and 6 listed as 12ft, 13ft, 14ft and 17ft.

You will have to use zoom but it does say Regency.
The full width Green Awning is Custom built there is a line of text saying it is 15 years old and the colours matched to the new awning.
