was out on new years day on the bike, was lovely day.

last monday a bit damp , on roundabout hit diesel and front end went, was lying with leg trapped under bike on my right side - 6 cars and a small lorry went past me without stopping - Sad

i felt like i had been hit by truck later on, luckily not too much damage to bike as I was its buffer.

well by next weekend that will be a week so i will have loads of pics Smile

thanks

well the day is finally here.

My wife and my dad are going to collect the dandy today (fingers crossed it all goes to plan)

Looks like the rain has stopped and is going to be a nice day.

guy at work has a wheel clamp I can borrow which is good.
Hope to be able to get it erected over the next day or two so I can get stuck in about it.

Will update you later on.

well once my dad had a line of approx 10 cars behind him from buyers house to mine, he came into our street tried several times to reverse the dandy up our drive after attempting to park in the neighbours one first, he gave up drove out the street along 3 others and came back for another attempt gave in tried to unhook the trailer hitch however couldnt get the trailer higher than towbar cos the way he was parked then pushed it up drive, dandy nearly took off back down drive but they got handbrake on and bricks in place.
he did mention to my wife that he had never ever really got the hang of reversing with a trailer - now he tells us.....

My wife said that he is probably thinking to himself " should have bought my son a towbar"

his car now looks like it has been off road and is prob lying in a dark room

Congratulations, as Mike says, you be glancing at it every time you pass it or look out the window. Very Happy

Your story made me smile, my dad doesn't like the idea of towing, he's never done it, he thinks we mad towing with the classic car, especially one that has drum brakes all round and 6 volt electrics. Shocked

Congratulations. Does this mean I'm no longer "the new boy"?? Very Happy

Mine is still set up on the drive, as still fine tweaking it. Every now and then I put the garage electrics on from the main fuse box, so the Dandy lights up..... And smile...... Very Happy I think I need to get out more. Watch out naedoot, the Dandy bug is very contagious, and the spell is irriversable Smile

Congrats once again! cheers
